The best shaver that I've ever come across for providing a close shave has been the Philips Norelco 1059x. It is a men's electric shave and it does an amazing job at getting really close to the skin, so that you get a shave that is just as good as you would get with a regular razor. The big thing about this particular shaver is that it has a flex and pivot head on it. Electric shavers have absolutely no problems with flat skin areas. It is the curves they struggle with. This flex and pivot technology allows you to get that nice close shave.
