Why You Should Use a Shaving Brush
I thought I should take a little time and talk to you about the shaving brush. This is something that was used quite a long time ago and not today. I remember learning how to shave and I wasn't told about it. I just put some cream on my face and was ready to go. If you like old Western movies than you would of seen cowbows shaving. They have their little brush and they spread around the cream all over their face before they shave. You may think that it is an outdated way of doing things, but it actually has a very important purpose that you probably don't know about. Peels Old Skin That's right. The best electric shaver can do a lot for you, but the brush can do even more. Your skin is regrown every few weeks and this happens all over your body. This is why you're expected to scrub yourself in the shower, but people rarely ever get that skin off their face. Splashing your face with water doesn't do anything. The brush you rub against your face to spread around the shaving cream does this for you. It lifts up all that skin and gets it out of the way. This allows you to have a shave that is much closer and much cleaner. Dirt and Other Stuff It also has the ability to pull out all the dirt that gets on your face. If you're someone that puts cream on and things like that (like aftershave) than this stuff will linger on your skin. Simply brushing it off before you shave will help you out so much. Gets the hair up The best way to get a nice close shave is if you get the hair pushed up before you shave. This really means that the shaving cream has to get under the hair. The brush helps to move around the hair and help push it up for you. This means your shave will be greatly improved. |
