The interesting thing is that this has counter directional inner blades. And from my buddies that shave their heads, I know that this has been shown to do a pretty job at shaving their head. It has a full pivoting head on it, so you easily maneuver around the curves of your head, especially the back of it. This is something that can make shaving your head a little bit easier. I have an image to the right of the Philips Norelco 1059x Arcitec Men's Electric Shaver and I have to say that this is the best one that I've come across. It just meets all the special characteristics that I'm looking for. The first big selling point is that it has a completely flexible rotary head that swivels a full 360 degrees. This means that the shave is going to be very close when you're moving over your chin and other curved areas.
Using an electric shaver can be troublesome if you have skin that easily becomes irritated. The good news is that there is a great shaver that is easy on the skin. You can see it in the image to the right. It is the Panasonic ES8228S Men's Linear Vortex Nano Arc Foil Shaving System. That is a lot of words to describe it, but it's pretty sophisticated piece of technology.
If you're a man that shaves their head then you might want to take a look at the Panasonic ES8043SC Pro-Curve Pivot Action Linear Wet/Dry Shaver. A big issue that African American's suffer from is razor bumps and ingrown hair. This can make it quite difficult to use an electric shaver, but the Remington does a pretty good job at eliminating these problems.

This model does have the sharpest blades you will find on any ladies electric shaver, so it's as close of a shave that you'll get.
